Thermo Tube MPM

THERMO TUBE MPM is a heat-shrinkable, semi-flexible tube. The integrated fusible inner liner provides a permanent moisture-proof encapsulation for a wide range of applications. When heated, the inner wall melts and shrinkage of the outer wall presses it into the interstices. As a result, the substrate is enclosed in a robust, moisture-tight protective barrier after cooling. The tubing provides excellent environmental protection for a wide range of irregular shapes with varying dimensions, as an operating range of -60°C to 145°C and a shrink ratio of 3/1 are standard.

  • Consists of two layers.
  • Outside layer shrinks - inside melts and seals making it perfectly waterproof.
  • Excellent bonding and sealing characteristics.
  • Moulds to most irregular shapes.
  • Easy to apply with gas torch or hot air gun.
  • Excellent resistance to chemicals, acids and alkalines.
  • Flame retardant - resists UV-light.
