Thermo Tape

THERMO TAPE is a heat shrinkable insulation tape
with melt able adhesive lining. It is suitable for
insulation bus bar up to 1 KV.
THERMO TAPE is compatible with low voltage
insulations tubing’s.
THERMO TAPE provides permanent moisture proof sealing for splicing, cable connectors, cable branches and electrical components.
THERMO TAPE is especially designed for complex bus bar geometry and restricted access areas where no open end is available.

 

  • THERMO TAPE moulds to any shape.
  • Can be applied directly to copper.
  • Outside layer shrinks. Inside layer of adhesive melts.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Consists of two layers.
  • Excellent corrsion, U.V., water, chemical and acid resistance.
  • Fast, simple and safe to use.
  • Permanently flexible.
  • Temperature resistant from -30° up to +100°C

  • Use:
    sheathing of electrical components, protection against environmental effects, sealing cable ends from moisture.
  • can be used on all electrical applications (cables - cables splicing - connections), to insulate, to protect and to seal.
  • can be used in contact with chemicals. Is not resistant to earth alcalines. Protects metal tubing against corrosion and wear.
