SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is a high-quality RTV silicone. The different application variants enable quick, easy and even dosing and are characterized by very good modelling, smoothing and processing properties. SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is particularly suitable for industrial and automotive applications. SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is highly resistant to chemical liquids. SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is suitable for the temperature range between -60 °C and +260 °C, is non-corrosive and therefore has no effect on electrical components. SEAL FLEX HT BLACK fills imperfections and tolerances, has electrical insulating properties and provides immediate results for watertight and airtight joints. Furthermore, SEAL FLEX HT BLACK offers high pressure and UV resistance and has very good ageing stability. SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is color-fast, low-odor, acid- and alkali-free, for alkaline and metallic substrates.

For example, machine and engine housings, threaded and flanged connections, connections, air ducts, inlet and outlet manifolds, compressors, pumps, turbines, fuel and water pumps, gearbox, front and camshaft bearing covers, crankcase and valve covers, cooling systems, ventilation systems, heating oil burners, heat exchangers and much more.

Insulation and moisture protection of electronic contacts and for sealing joints or moisture leaks
SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is suitable for: Steel, stainless steel, aluminum, various alloys such as copper, glass, ceramics, synthetic materials, enamel, tiles, tinplate and glazed surfaces such as wood
SEAL FLEX HT BLACK is resistant to: light acids (up to 20%), glycol, fluorochloromethane, butane, oils, greases, lubricants, petrol, kerosene, transmission and brake fluids, water, steam, antifreeze, heating oil, alkalis, salt solutions
For optimum results, the surface should be free of rust, corrosion, grease and dust
Pre-priming on concrete, mineral plaster and fiber cement if necessary
Not suitable for natural stone
Preliminary tests are recommended on plastics such as PMMA and polycarbonate (stress cracks)
Avoid contact with bitumen, tar or plasticizer-releasing materials (EPDM, butyl, foams), as this can lead to incompatibilities
